2016 Coming to an end!

Well 2016 was a very interesting year to say the least and now my focus is the coming year.  Here to 2017 and hopefully a new beginning of creative achievements.  I am making plans to update my Etsy shop to help me generate more sales.  I am planning on taking new pictures and reorganizing my shop with new and more unique items.

I look forward to your comments on what you think once I get it completed so keep checking back to see my process.  I also am planning on starting for the new year on my blog crafts tips and how you can become a part of the crafting world.

I would like to get started on my new quest by posting my first crafting tip:

Here is my table off my kitchen notice the natural light and work space room.
YOUR WORK SPACE
It is important to have an area that can be devoted totally to making your craft(s). My work area is off my kitchen (see picture to right) as you see it is big enough and gives me lots of room to access my tools and supplies. Good lighting is also very important.  Comfort is also very important to your creative process including a chair with back support.

And here is just some of my craft tools I use on my work table.

To make things easier have all your tools and supplies available for crafting.  Having everything you need avoids time space away from doing your craft and loseing creative time on your project. Gather all your tools and supplies needed (I make a list and check off my supplies and tools as I gather them up) I use a tote to put everything in to help reduce my having to go back and forth to set up my work area from my craft room (it helps save time).

Well check back tomorrow I will be blogging about craft rooms and storage of inventory.

Happy New Year!

Taking Some Time to Be Creative!

Muck Luck Slippers
Well here are some of the gifts I made for my family this year for Christmas.  I hope they really like them I tried to be as creative as I could to make the holiday special in anyway I could.

Looking forward to having a show on January 7th at the EarthPark farmers market.  And then in February the Lost Dutchman Days.  I just took my Christmas items out of the Arizona Gift Center in Mesa, AZ and took in some of my hand painted tiles pictured above and some new southwestern pieces.

If you get a chance check it out.  I am trying something new this year and offering some crafting tips so check back often for my free tips.
