Boy it has been hot in AZ!

Well we survived this week of triple digit temps in AZ and over 110 degrees.  Yesterday we went to our local Aquatic center in Apache Junction with our grand children and really had a good time there.  The facility is really nice and we were surprised how much it did help cool us off.

I really have been working hard on coming up with new and different things for my upcoming shows and now believe it or not I am thinking Christmas time.  I am going to put myself in gear to come up with some really unique Christmas ornaments to make and sell for my November and December shows.  Wish me luck!

I have been doing some research and snooping on what others are doing and coming up with for the holidays and I think I have a few new ideas to construct.

I really enjoyed metal etching so maybe I can come up with some Christmas themed ornaments to make using that technique  I guess I have to see what I can come up with.

Well just wanted to touch base with all and keep you updated on what I am working on and doing.  Stay cool AZ and I will be checking in soon.

Well I took some time to update my Wix website with some of my handmade crocheted and knitted accessories.

Available for you to purchase are my handmade hats, ear warmers and dog coats and sweaters.  Each of my designs are available for custom ordering in your color of choice and available in all sizes including children.  I have set up this web site to make it easier for my customers to order and allow them to customize their orders in color and size.

I have also been working on some new jewelry items too.  I am trying my hand on metal etching and I am having fun in designing southwestern designs to sell at my upcoming fall shows.  I have included a picture of one of my creations this is a pendant design on copper.  I have more designs that I hope will do well at my shows.  I am really looking forward to seeing the response to my new designs.

Summertime is almost here

Well here I am sitting here doing some computer work.  I just added some new pictures of items I have created in the past couple of months including new purses made from recycled blue jeans and old clothing.  They turned out really nicely.  I posted them on my Etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/ExclusivelyYours0Kim check it out.

I also revisited my love for painting and have been doing some painted ceramic tiles and clay pots that I turned into wind chimes.  I am getting ready to start a little bit of water coloring painting something I have not yet to master.  But I am going to give it a try and see if I like it as much as painting with acrylics.

We are getting ready to visit our family back in Erie, PA and Green Bay WI in the next few months and then doing some more work on items to sell at my upcoming shows this coming October. Wish me luck!

Superstition Museum Art Show

Had a wonderful weekend at the Superstition Mountain Museum Art Show.  Made a new friend Mary Opat she does oil paintings and is very talented check out here website maryopat.com or her blog maryopatfineart.blogspot.com.

Saturday was very busy and lots of customers. The weather was prefect lots of sunshine and warmth.  Talked to a lot of interesting people and enjoyed talking to them about my artist abilities and my love for using different mediums.  It is a great satisfaction to see how people react to my creations and it gives me pleasure to put a smile on their face when they purchase one of my creations to add to their treasures.  

My husband Roger is so wonderful he supports me in every way.  Helping me set up my displays and making sure everything looks great. He is my biggest fan and is always making sure my customers are satisfied in every way.  He is so awesome!
